**About Pfizer Patient and Health Impact**



Patient and Health Impact (PHI) is a newly formed group within Pfizer that brings together experts in health economics and outcomes research, real-world data, patient-centered outcomes assessment, market access, pricing, strategy and contracting. ROLE SUMMARY:



The Director, Pricing Dynamics will report to the Sr. Director, Pricing Dynamics within the Patient & Health Impact (PHI) Global Pricing Center of Excellence (COE). The Director is responsible for providing enterprise-wide pricing, economic and analytic leadership, including but not limited to:







+ Managing and implementing state of the art predictive pricing and financial analysis projects, including developing and building analyses and models supporting PHI and Pfizer priorities.







Participating in annual Operating Plan global pricing & access assessment, providing analytical insights to cross-functional team and developing new models and resources to advance understanding of near-term and mid-term risks to the plan.







ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:



**Evolve JADE Analytics predictive decision analytics resources and capabilities in support of Pfizer's Global Pricing Community of Practice.**







+ Support, plan, implement, manage and deliver predictive pricing analytics in alignment with PHI and cross-functional colleagues to support business goals and objectives



+ Advise collaborators on the feasibility of modeling solutions and propose solutions to efficiently meet business needs



+ Advise collaborators on the identification of areas for improvement



+ Lead the planning and procurement of datasets, software solutions and vendor support where necessary, providing training to the team as needed



+ Integrate price modeling solutions into other economic, health economic and forecasting tools used by the broader PHI team







+ Partner effectively with Business Technology to continue to strengthen Pfizer's pricing technology platform







+ Work closely with key stakeholders: PHI BU leads/teams and the respective cross-functional teams and can include the Commercial, Finance, Portfolio Decision Analysis and Outcomes & Evidence etc. as appropriate to ensure alignment with overall objectives for the organization



+ Support the coaching/mentoring of colleagues, interns, fellows and graduate students, as appropriate and aligned with Pricing Dynamics vision and scope







**Implement an enhanced focus on US pricing strategies and decision analytics,** taking into account cross-portfolio and cross-regional financial, political, economic & reputational impacts of our decisions.







+ Collaborate with Global Pricing Director, Americas, the US Payer & Channel Access (PCA) team, US Essential Health team, Finance, and Corporate Affairs to accelerate decision analytics and foster pricing innovation







**Provide Country and Regional Support through the Operating Plan processes.**







+ Lead the team in leveraging Operating Plans to identify, coordinate and proactively manage pricing decisions for countries and regions, as required by governance via the PCR process



+ Partner with country H&V, Finance, Corporate Affairs, CMF and relevant PI&A colleagues, to conduct OP pricing and access analyses, identifying price change drivers and potential solutions to manage government mandated impacts, as appropriate



+ Enhance focus on US price increases, contributing strategic pricing analysis with focus on internal and external decision impacts







**Manage internally-facing Pricing SOPs & Guidance** (including governance and price disclosure requirements) that are followed and leveraged by in-country and global H&V, Commercial, Corporate Affairs & Finance teams.







+ Manage pricing governance and price disclosure requirements, partnering successfully with commercial businesses to ensure fit for purpose, streamlined governance processes.







QUALIFICATIONS:







+ Advanced level degree (graduate level coursework required, PhD preferred) in economics, statistics, finance, or data science.



+ A minimum of 7 years' experience in global market access, health economics, finance, outcomes research or related health services/public health research is required. Industry experience is highly desired.



+ Direct experience in economic and pricing analytics, technology management and forecasting, including demand estimation and forecasting, price-volume sensitivity and/or applied industrial organization



+ Excellent knowledge of and experience in pricing/health economic/econometric/financial modeling methods, applied theory/technical principles, statistics, data interpretation and analyses and related working applications within global healthcare including reimbursement systems



+ Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and statistical programming and modeling software (e.g. R, Stata, MATLAB, SAS)



+ Ability to analyze complex data and develop and implement related strategic recommendations



+ Excellent interpersonal and team matrix interactions/collaborations, communications, agility and flexibility working with colleagues across multiple cultures and time zones



+ Ability to work under pressure, to take accountability for business challenges and tackle complex problems; willing to learn and embrace new approaches to modeling



+ Strong customer-orientation; an ability to see issues from the point of view of others



+ An "execution mindset" focused on getting things done quickly and simply



+ Outstanding writing, oral and presentation skills; Ability to convey and effectively communicate pricing analysis project proposals and strategies, and the results of complex data analyses to diverse audiences



+ High level of integrity, transparency of conduct
