ADP is hiring a Director of Product Management in Parsippany, NJ. The Director of Product Management is responsible for the integration solutions for the major cloud HCM vendors and ADP's MNC products and solutions. The person will be working in an agile development environment and lead the team in achieving on-time, on-budget releases that attain commercial success in the market. Leads the team of product owners who are responsible for market-sensing activities to understand market requirements and deliver innovative integration solutions with leading cloud HCM vendors to offer seamless experience and robust data integration. Helps lead product launch activities and ongoing market-facing support. Helps develop and manage strategic partnerships with the cloud HCM vendors to drive co-innovation and joint client success.

  • Responsible for overall product management requirements related to the integration solutions for the major cloud HCM vendors. Identifies and develops product strategy and requirements and evaluates their potential and practicality by analyzing market and customer needs through direct client interaction, market research and interfacing with sale, service and IT. Manage strategic partnerships with the cloud HCM vendors to develop new features, support new sales and client implementations.
  • Acts as a Primary Product Owner and interface with development for the cloud HCM integration solutions. Responsible for product roadmap definition and prioritization. Acts as User Champion when coordinating product development with Business Stakeholders and aligns all development activity with business goals and priorities.
  • Directly responsible for SCRUM teams (number to be determined), including feature/requirement definition, use cases, delivery management and ongoing quality management. Manages the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement). Works day to day with the product SCRUM teams to clarify requirements and accept final user stories, balances business needs with technical requirements, and recommends alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements when needed.
  • Supports all product launch and market-facing support activities. Serves as the key client facing contact for the product as well as subject matter/technical expert to the external client, marketing, sales and service organizations on all matters related to the product(s). Works with marketing, sales and service on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. where appropriate to ensure that business objectives are achieved.
  • Overseas Travel: up to 50%


  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent in education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a market-facing software and enterprise solutions product role.
  • Facilitative leadership experience as well as experience working with Agile methodology strongly preferred.
  • Significant knowledge of Global Human Capital Management market. Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams to accomplish project goals. Must be capable of managing multiple stakeholders on the best course of action for the product.
  • Deep understanding of HR, Payroll and HCM business processes and technologies. Experience with data mapping, transformation, HR-payroll integration and any ETL, API, middleware technologies would be a plus.
  • Workday competencies required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally.
  • Ability to implement concepts, ideas and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment necessary.
  • Must be a strong collaborator, team player as well as an individual contributor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Workday implementation and/or integration experience
