Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community.  We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center.  The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services.  We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health.  The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.

Kingwood Pines Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Director of Quality & Regulatory Compliance. The Director, Regulatory/Compliance provides leadership regarding, and oversees ongoing evaluation of all organizational quality and performance activities and regulatory requirements for all applicable regulatory bodies.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinates hospital QAPI Program, Provide in-services in QAPI and other relevant matters;
  • Utilizes satisfaction survey and patient grievance information to formulate recommendations for improvement within current hospital systems;
  • Cross trained with Director of Risk Management to oversee this function in absence of Director of Risk Management.
  • Participates with leaders from the governing body, management, medical and allied staff to improve the quality and appropriateness of patient care. Attend meetings including but not limited to, Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, QAPI, Nurse Management, Research, Medical Executive;
  • Ensures patient confidentiality is maintained and act to safeguard PHI;
  • Adheres to the Service Excellence Standards.
  • Serves as a resource to the Medical Staff Credentialing Process and the Credentials Committee as needed. Data from physician peer review is utilized in the decision making process of granting privileges to and reappointment of Medical and Allied Health Staff.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Education: College degree in health care related field, RN or MSW preferred.
  • Experience: Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a psychiatric/chemical dependency setting.
  • Licensure: CPHQ, RHIT, RHIA, RN
