The Customer Office (CO) seeks a dynamic and resourceful driver who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, challenging working environment.   You are self-starting, with superior analytical, strategic and creative problem solving skills.  You are capable of operating at both a strategic and tactical level.   You have demonstrated skill in analyzing marketplace dynamics, pursuing business development opportunities and translating insights into compelling presentations.  You will work closely in a consultative capacity with senior leaders.


About The Role:

You will play a significant role in shaping and influencing the company’s growth strategy.  As part of the Strategy & Planning team, you will report directly to the head of Strategy & Planning and work closely with senior leaders to evaluate new business opportunities and analyze emerging trends that will influence current and future strategies – both in the U.S. and international markets.  You will play a critical role in strategic planning to drive customer-centric initiatives that will help transform the company and align with long-term growth initiatives.Primary Responsibilities:

·         Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate emerging issues that may impact Prudential’s engagement with its customers.  Highlight emerging trends and that can benefit Prudential and advance the strategic priorities of the organization.

·         Develop presentations, manage timelines, and coordinate inputs from inside and outside the organization to inform and influence decision making with senior leadership.   

·         Build strategic discipline and deployment mechanisms to monitor and socialize opportunities with retail and institutional customers.  Evaluate fintech trends and digital engagement opportunities that can help build connectivity among business line roadmaps and objectives. 

·         Foster understanding and alignment on strategic vision/initiatives across the broader Prudential system, reach multiple levels of the organizations.

·         Be a conduit for knowledge management for CO and its partners. 

·         Collaborate with CO leadership and internal/external partners on evaluating potential digital acquisitions, sponsoring and driving pre-acquisition analysis.


·         5-7 years overall business experience, with deep understanding of financial services.

·         Exceptional written and verbal communications, with the ability to synthesize insights into compelling presentations.

·         Able to bring a flexible approach and solutions-focused mindset to the CO with the ability to react quickly to new information, opinion and direction.

·         Amazing listener with a keen ability to knit together disparate sources of information into a strong strategic narrative.

·         Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of management levels, cultures and business partners.

·         Ability to juggle different projects/priorities independently and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure. 

·         Strong partnering skills and ability to work collaboratively across a large organization.

·         Undergraduate degree required; MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.
