Description The Director, Team Leader, Specialty Access Solutions, Patient Access Services is responsible for leading and directing patient access services, HUB operations, tactics, life-cycle plans and team development across the Pfizer portfolio.

This Director will ensure efficient and compliant operation of current branded PFE HUBs within Immunology, Oncology, and Rare Disease, as well as provide required guidance to co-promote HUB's (e.g., CoverOne and XSS). The Director will lead efforts to plan for future product HUB service requirements and launches in support of the Pfizer portfolio.

The scope of this role is broad in directing access services (i.e., HUBs and other appropriate patient services), development of strategy, execution of access/service tactics, and coordination with appropriate stakeholders to align to brand strategy - all with the focus of optimizing access to Pfizer products and the patient journey.

In collaboration with the SAS CoE Sr. Director, the Director will ensure that services and learnings are leveraged across the PFE portfolio and that the patient services area emerges as a true "Center of Excellence." The Director will also ensure that the patient access services team has connectivity and strong collaboration with key stakeholders, such as SPP CoE and Corporate Responsibility.

This candidate requires excellent communications, emotional intelligence, astute conflict resolution skills, and ability to partner closely with brand teams, field teams, legal, vendors, co-promote partners, Corporate Responsibility, and Payer & Channel Access colleagues across Pfizer's business.



Skills:



+ A high attention to detail with a customer service orientation is highly desired

+ Experienced working in a cross functional, matrix organization is required

+ Interaction and communication with Senior Level Pfizer and vendor personnel is required

+ Experience in executing and managing highly complex programs and projects is preferred

+ Strategic mindset, analytical thinking, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, communication skills, entrepreneurship

+ Strong project management skills and experience

+ Ability to address issues that may arise from high visibility HUB programs in a mature and solutions oriented manner



Experience:



+ Demonstrated ability to manage patient access services planning, budget, project management and execution, a plus

+ Knowledge of HUBs and payer intermediaries for specialty/oncology products preferred

+ Understanding of reimbursement dynamics given multiple sites-of-care

+ Demonstrated understanding of marketing planning and the patient journey is highly preferred

+ Experience in marketing, payer marketing, specialty pharmacy, strategic and tactical planning, and business analytics a plus

+ People management and team development experience is required

+ 10+ years required of pharmaceutical experience



**Development and implementation of a life-cycle/strategic plan for each HUB that links to the overall brand and access strategy**



+ Develop and institute processes to leverage learnings and synergies across the portfolio and HUBs

+ Optimize Pfizer resources

+ Coordinate the HUB/SPP strategy on patient access services with the SPP CoE to ensure for a positive patient experience

+ Seek efficiencies and continuous improvement in overall HUB and Pfizer processes

+ Seek continued innovation to put Pfizer at the forefront of patient access services. Leverage innovation to gain efficiency of operations



**Provide direction and leverage Pfizer learnings in the coordination of co-promotion HUB services. Provide a point-of-contact for access services with the co-promote partner**



+ Ensure a Pfizer voice with co-promote and HUB vendor partner

+ Communicate and coordinate with Pfizer brand leadership to ensure that HUB co-promote partners are aligned with Pfizer objectives

+ Consult and provide direction to leverage Pfizer learnings in the coordination of co-promotion HUB services. Ensure connectivity with Pfizer field resources

+ Provide a point-of-contact for access services with the co-promote partner



**Support and/or Lead specific initiatives in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Patient Access/HUB services and portfolio initiatives, including:**



+ Development, or support the development of brand access strategic and tactical plans

+ Provide strategic guidance to HUB/reimbursement services vendor engagement and management

+ Guide team to provide service enhancements and initiatives

+ Provide direction and leverage Pfizer learnings in the coordination of co-promotion HUB services. Provide a point-of-contact for access services with the co-promote partner



**Ensure that all operations/personnel operate with high integrity and an eye on compliance, including:**



+ Following all applicable Pfizer policies and legal direction on access and reimbursement services, patient assistance programs, procurement, privacy, CEP, and other applicable policies



**Provide leadership, development, and direction to team members:**



+ Develop a high performing team with directed goals and instilling a bias toward action

+ Coach and provide regular feedback

+ Support the team in managing difficult situations related to HUB operation



**Lead appropriate data integration and reporting initiatives, including:**



+ HUB key performance indicators, monitoring, and alerting

+ HUB - SPP data integration to enable appropriate action

+ Facilitate HUB data insights generation

+ Develop HUB/vendor quarterly business review standards

+ Develop best practices and cross BU scorecards



The position will require approximately 20% travel to HUB vendors, conferences, agencies, and other access related venues/meetings.
