Provides strategic leadership and direction for design, development, delivery and maintenance of current and future technologies addressing internal and external business needs. Identifies new technologies and products to support and improve OSP technology delivery. Establishes and implements technical and operating performance standards.

Provides functional strategic leadership and execution of technology solutions for OSP ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives. 

Identifies, proposes, and influences business solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements across multiple business customers or organizations.
Anticipates industry future directions and relates those changes to current and future products and architectures
Partners with other functional groups to develop, manage, track, and analyze impacts of OSP Designs on operational support structures, tools, methods and procedures and processes to gain maximum effectiveness,         efficiency, and a quality customer experience 
Ensures that the Architecture and Design function within OSP integrates seamlessly with other Technology and business partners, leading to the development and growth of the business through effective use of technology
Works closely with technology senior management in order to fully understand business priorities of the function and the corporation as a whole 
Establish functional strategic goals for improving design effectiveness, construction ease, operational efficiency of all OSP architectures and solutions. Initiates and directs activity aligned with achieving improvement  goals. 
Analyzes and manages capital and expense budgets. 
Oversees and leads contract negotiations and vendor management. 
Directs Technology economic, alternative, and feasibility evaluations. 
Consults with business leaders to define key performance indicators and service level requirements, and then manages the development of OSP solutions to meet those objectives. 



10+ years of experience required in related field (i.e., RF/HFC Engineering, MTC configuration and training, RF signal analysis and troubleshooting, FTTX Technology, etc.).
1. Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, 
2. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization


1. BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
2. 3+ years of experience in a management role preferred
3. Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
