**ROLE SUMMARY**



This position functions as a member of the St Louis Meridian Leadership Team and provides strategic direction and leadership for the site Engineering function which includes Project Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Security.







**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**







+ Development, execution, and management of Project Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Security objectives, and direct expense budgets.



+ Development, execution, and management of the site's Capital Plan and Site Master Plan.



+ Provides direction on facility engineering projects for new construction and/or renovations at the site, which includes design, construction, budget and schedule management, commissioning, and completion.



+ Ensures all projects are designed and constructed in accordance with current cGMP, safety, environmental, energy conservation, and local, state and/or federal regulations.



+ Provides direction for site's maintenance operation in the areas of manufacturing, utilities, and facilities, ensuring maintenance is operating per Pfizer/industry accepted best practices.



+ Provides direction for site's security operation, ensuring that security practices provide protection for the colleagues and contractors, as well as Pfizer property and product.



+ Collaborates and consults with appropriate Center functional groups (i.e. Global Engineering and Security) to ensure alignment with Corporate and/or Divisional requirements regarding corporate guidelines, recommended best practices, and reporting requests.







**QUALIFICATIONS**







+ BS in Engineering. MS or MBA preferred.



+ Minimum of 10 years experience with Project Engineering and/or Maintenance/facilities in a pharmaceutical, cGMP manufacturing environment. Preferred sterile injectable, medical device and/or combination drug/device manufacturing experience.



+ Minimum of 5 years managerial leadership with demonstrated success in directing and developing colleagues.







**PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS**







+ Ability to gown and work in cGMP-classified workspace and ability to safely review/inspect field engineering projects under construction.







**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**







+ Ability to support a 24x7 operating schedule.



+ Travel and presence required at multiple Meridian St. Louis locations (Westport and Brentwood).
