Description The Compliance Division is seeking a proactive, experienced and results-oriented professional to fill a director position that will be responsible for supporting and overseeing compliance activities, controls, planning, implementation and reporting related to Pfizer's Compliance Program. The position will report to the U.S. Compliance Integrity Program Senior Director/Sr. Corporate Counsel and will be responsible for supporting, developing, coordinating, tracking and reporting projects in order to ensure the continued effective elements of a compliance program (e.g., policy and systems reviews, development and enhancement of compliance programs).

The role requires significant coordination with Pfizer Legal, Compliance and other colleagues, external parties such as outside counsel and third party vendors to address program obligations and reporting on compliance efforts. The candidate will be skilled at navigating complex matrix organizations in order to effectively communicate and coordinate with subject matter experts and compliance leads.

+ Support activities related to Pfizer's U.S. Compliance program and activities and applicable laws and regulations including:

+ Supporting third party reviews of systems and transactions.

+ Assessing and revising policies and processes.

+ Drafting agreements with vendors, contractors, and other parties to ensure compliance.

+ Coordinating with the Compliance Monitoring Analytics (CMA) and Risk Assessment teams on activities and reporting.

+ Managing the management certification processes and related activities.

+ Manage reporting preparation and processes.

+ Ensure continued compliance with Pfizer's policies and procedures.

+ Liaise and support communication and scheduling activities between Pfizer and third parties.

+ Develop and present training and certification materials.

+ Administer and track compliance requirements using electronic tracking, trending and reporting tools.

+ Coordinate with Legal and Compliance colleagues to enhance policies and systems controls to address compliance risk areas; interpreting laws, regulations and policies relating to those areas.

+ Identify, address and resolve and/or facilitate escalation of issues to maintain effective compliance.

+ Draft and prepare compliance-related reports and presentations for the committees and senior management with respect to Compliance programs.


+ BS or BA degree; Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, JD) a plus

+ Minimum 8-10 years of significant experience in strategic consulting, risk management, or legal/compliance for pharmaceutical or healthcare regulations

+ Minimum 3 years project management experience and supervisory experience of others at various levels and coordinating cross-functional teams

+ Understanding of healthcare-related laws and regulations and industry standard preferred, including the federal false claims act, federal anti-kickback statement, OIG regulations and guidance, pharmacovigilance issues, and the foreign corruption practices act

+ Professional work experience in developing and implementing quality and compliance concepts

+ Ability to effectively facilitate and manage meetings and complex, strategic conversations

+ Excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts in ways that are understood and actionable by cross-function teams

+ Strong presentation skills involving audiences with various backgrounds, and ability to adjust message and filter details based on audience

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications
