Description **Overall Purpose:**

Responsible for directing development of company vertical marketing programs for the Retail industry by leading a team of channel marketing professionals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Manage a team of professionals that are responsible for articulating industry-specific value propositions; creating, managing and tracking internal campaigns and sales facing content (e.g., training collateral, use cases, targeted lists)

+ Provide leadership and retail industry expertise relevant to development and implementation of marketing programs; Oversees execution of marketing programs which are designed to drive wireline, wireless and strategic services revenues and reduce churn.

+ Key stakeholder in offer management governance; collaborates with internal industry experts, sales leaders, product/offer management and marketing communications to guide offers and align tactics for rapid development of commercialized scalable “off the shelf” solutions

+ Responsible for aligning product and channel priority initiatives. Utilizes expert knowledge of retail industry and marketing field and the ability to integrate critical information from many different areas to inform and evolve sales plays over time.

+ Supports planning and execution for events, both National and local.

+ Contributes to design, prioritization and implementation of sales incentives

+ Oversee tracking of marketing programs including defining KPI’s, aggregating and analyzing data, identifying and articulating key insights for executive review.

+ Evaluate performance, career planning and development for the team. Influence decisions regarding hiring, terminations, disciplinary action, promotional activity and pay decisions for subordinates.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Extensive practical experience in vertical marketing, product management, product delivery, corporate strategy, channel marketing, or sales/sales support experience with industry-specific knowledge

+ Industry-specific knowledge and expertise

+ History of proven outstanding performance

+ Strong strategic and analytical skills

+ Direct supervisory experience as well as the ability to lead large, cross-functional teams with proven track record of influencing a creative, high-performance culture

+ Ability to integrate critical information from many diverse areas

+ Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office products

+ Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and the ability to interact with Senior Executives and Officers of AT&T

**Desired Qualifications**

+ 10 years combined experience in retail field, telecommunications, and/or technology industries

+ Leadership experience in campaign marketing, offer management, and/or product management

+ A Bachelors degree is not required, but a Bachelors degree is preferred
