As we launch into 2018, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Regency Park team as a Front-Line Manager within our Distribution Centre. In this position you will be required to deliver against agreed operational targets and service levels by focusing on maintaining excellent customer service both to internal and external matters, incorporating Freight, Inventory and people management.

Key Accountabilities to ensure success in this role include:

  • Daily monitoring of inbound and outbound customer orders
  • Freight carrier performance measurement and management to maintain agreed service level. Maintain an open communication channel
  • Manage Own Fleet Vehicles repair and maintenance and compliance against CoR requirements, in alignment with the NHVR
  • Manage hire pallet systems, including docket creation, account cleanliness and reconciliation with a target of zero variances
  • Lead the Inventory Team to monitor sales demand to ensure all efforts are made to satisfy sales expectations
  • Communicate cross-offs or low stock holdings to Planning Team and Customer Representatives
  • Work closely with the supplying sites and transport providers to ensure continuity and prioritisation of Inventory requirements (including import/export container prioritisation)
  • Management and execution of stocktakes including onsite, 3PL and POS. Conduct variance analysis with an desire to achieve zero variance
  • SAP management for Inventory and Freight master data, system cleanliness and data analysis
  • Day to day order dispatch scheduling and time slotting based on customer requirements
  • Achieve annual DC/Inventory scorecard targets. Complete daily analysis of DC/Inventory scorecards and putt action plans in place to achieve KPIs/targets
  • Responsible for ensuring site security policies and protocols are adhered to by direct reports and third-parties
  • Coach, develop and drive performance of direct report team members including regular 1:1s, team meetings and PDRs


The qualifications, skills & experience that will be assessed include:
  • High competency in SAP associated with WMS, Finished Goods and Freight movements
  • Degree qualified in Business / Commerce / Management / Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to set and gain commitment to targets and deadlines
  • Well-developed PC Skills, including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and SAP
  • Well-developed people leadership, change management and team building skills
  • Results driven and solution focussed
  • Customer centric
  • Strong coaching skills with exposure to performance management processes
  • Knowledge of concepts and application of modern logistics principles
  • Knowledge of legislative and State based Enterprise Agreements
  • Strong commercial / financial acumen

It is crucial to the success of this role that candidates have previous experience and a detailed understanding of the SAP Systems.
