Unit Description

Sodexo's Senior's Segment is in search for a District Manager to lead all aspects of our Food Service operations strategy and execution within our Senior Living Division covering up to 15 communities from the Los Angeles to San Diego area with managed volume up to 15 million. 

 

Ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, talent management, communication skills, and project management skills. Experience with Healthcare/Senior Living food operations services considered a plus. Strong team development skills, client relationship skills and proven successful P & L management are musts. Previous multi site responsibility and sales exposure is desired as well. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geography through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees including financial performance, client retention, policy compliance, and employee training & development. Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload. Works with clients and VP in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention.

 

Current scope is 6 communities will expand up to 15

 

A $10k sign on bonus will be included with the final offer

Position Summary

Serves as the primary representative of Sodexo for multiple accounts in a designated geographic area. Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the Vice President in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the General Manager's.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 7 years
Basic Functional Experience - 7 years
