Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The HDI Division Operations Support Manager is responsible for all sales, operational, and POS system functions and processes. The position will support the development, maintenance and execution of field operational programs, policies and initiatives. By providing operational direction, this position will assist sales and installation management teams in driving sales and delivering results.

The DOSM serves as the centralized point of contact for reporting support and works cross-functionally to coordinate tasks and/or lead initiatives that need to be executed centrally. This position will also schedule, manage and deliver operational training for the organization. The goal of the DOSM is to increase operational performance and will accomplish this by teaching and training in the branches with associates while ensuring consistency and integrity in the organization s operational processes.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

50% -Travel to branches in assigned area and work with leaders and associates to teach, train and validate operational processes are followed consistently in the branch and across the organization. Work with local leadership on integrity and accountability of branch operations and company policies and procedures.

25% - Analyze sales and revenue levels to manage POS, active and aging AR, cycle time movement and PCI compliance. Support to divisional sales and operations leadership to ensure goals are met for cycle time, sales installed revenue and POS compliance. Provide guidance and assistance for escalated customer service issues.

15% - Responsible for creation, maintenance and execution of business specific SOPs and processes to ensure operational excellence and efficiency. Create, train and implement process improvements in the field.

10% - Oversight and partnership for staffing and training of branch administrative support functions.

Environment:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Additional Minimum Qualifications:


Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:


Preferred Qualifications:
Management experience.
Knowledge or experience in the home improvement industry.
Experienced with Microsoft Office Products and Excel Programs.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Excellent leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to use Microsoft Office products and type 25-30 wpm.
Advanced Excel knowledge and experience.
Proven experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to problem solve with success.
Effective multi-unit management skills.
Customer Service and dispute resolution experience.
