Prudential’s Individual Life Insurance (ILI) division is on a journey to transform its technology landscape from older, custom built applications to newer, packaged, cutting edge software. A critical component of this journey is the transformation of customer correspondence and communications, since the customer is at the heart of everything we do as a business. We have chosen DocuSign as one of our target platforms to facilitate that customer correspondence and communications journey, along with OpenText Exstream.

DocuSign is a company that provides electronic signature technology and Digital Transaction Management services for facilitating electronic exchanges of contracts and signed documents.

To that end, ILI Technology is seeking a qualified DocuSign Developer to design, develop and implement DocuSign software to sign, send and manage customer correspondence. This solution will be used to transform our policy issuance and claims business processes, while migrating older technologies onto the new platform.

The qualified candidate will collaborate with several business and technology initiatives to understand the customer correspondence needs and translate them into effective, flexible and sustainable technology solutions. The candidate will play an advisory role in all stages of the systems development lifecycle, to ensure quality deliverables for sending and receiving documents through DocuSign. Individual Life Insurance is embracing Agile methodologies, including Scrum development techniques, test and learn initiatives, DevOps concepts, and autonomous and collaborative work environments. Experience with customer correspondence and document signature technologies is a must, preferably with DocuSign.

The right candidate will be self-motivated, and willing to drive and be part of a fun and exciting Transformation of Prudential’s life insurance business.  This is an extraordinary time to join Prudential, which has been recognized by Computerworld Magazine as one of the “100 Best Places to Work in IT” for the past 7 years.

  • Experience/Knowledge with XML, Web Services, and APIs
  • DocuSign experience preferred
  • Desire to learn, participate on diverse teams on exciting and challenging activities; must want to have fun
  • Open-source tools or OpenText Exstream experience a plus
  • Experience in software development lifecycle including Agile methodologies a plus
  • Must be willing to learn, grow and have fun
