Unit Description

 

Sodexo is currently seeking a dynamic Due Diligence/Transition Team Member to support performance of our Facilities Management (FM) platform within Sodexo Service Operations across North America.

 

This exciting area of focus is at the heart of the business we are building within our organization.  Today, our FM Platform works to provide FM standardization and expertise to grow facility management business across all segments, promote an FM culture and serve as a catalyst for FM growth supporting all segments equally and design, manage and support deployment of technical FM services.

 

This position supports the Hard FM (Asset Management and Engineering) Services of the North America FM Platform and supports the Global FM Platform to define Sodexo’s asset management and engineering (Hard FM) services. This position supports a team in the due diligence and transition for operations for all Hard FM services across all Market Segments (~$400Million in Revenue in North America).  This team is essential to the growth of the Hard FM business. This position will directly impact the revenue and profitability of Market Segment accounts. The technical resources from the Market Segments have been relocated into this team to provide consistent, high quality technical strength in on-site operations of the Hard FM business.  This team will drive innovations and future improvement in the Hard FM operations across all Market Segments.

 

As part of every Hard FM contract, Sodexo needs to understand the current services that are being provided.  To measure improves in service levels or cost savings opportunities, it is essential to establish a baseline from which to be measured.  This team will be instrumental in creating the baseline for Hard FM services by conducting site inspections and gathering and analyzing Client information.  This information will then be used to develop the site specific solutions and pricing.  Once a contract is award, a team is deployed to the site(s) to transition Sodexo into the operations.  This team will be instrumental (1) in taking the Client contract and expectations to develop Service Levels Agreements for the Hard FM services, (2) in providing technical expertise for the hiring of the site(s) team, (3) for developing and establishing the subcontract agreements for all non-self-performed services, and (4) generally supporting the startup and stabilization of the new accounts. 

 

In addition, this team will support continued operations with on-site resources per the Client contract.  This position will support a team in the design and delivery of efficient and cost-effective processes for the due diligence and transition of the asset management services for all Hard FM operations across all Market Segments.  This position will support the teams that will be deployed to each site account to conduct the due diligence and transition as part of the Asset Management Services.

This position will support a team in driving cost-savings and value through continuous improvement of the asset management services due diligence and transition processes and teams.

 

Are you the one?

Our ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of experience, preferable in Asset Management and Engineering.   Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.  Segment experience in several industries which may include Corporate, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Data Center, Laboratory, Pharma, Industrial, Government, and Education is preferred.

 

Location and Travel 

This is a remote position.   Candidates should reside near a major airport within the U.S. This position will require up to 80%  travel.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree 

Basic Management Experience - 5 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years
