BASIC FUNCTION: This position will work closely with the President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing to advise on go to market strategy and optimize sales channels and marketing mix. Leads the development and implementation of the strategic and business development plans to grow sales profitably. Researches and analyzes market trends and business metrics in order to design and implement new sales programs and channels, and ensure the organization is positioned for short and long term growth goals. Actively engages with key business partners on strategic growth initiatives, acquisitions and new product introductions, to achieve sales goals. ESSENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop and deliver strategic and operational plans to support strategic growth objectives based on sound analysis and judgment.
* Create and leverage information resources enabling the sales organization to accurately assess market demand, client needs, competition and new opportunities.
* Proactively identify, develop, and drive longer-term strategies and initiatives that will result in attaining profitable growth. Take bold actions to strengthen results.
* Leverage changes in the external marketplace as catalysts for growth. Understand and act on trends in the external environment, identifying key ways to differentiate our sales offering versus the competitive ecosystem
* Drive brand, marketing, and communications strategy as part of an integrated sales and marketing planning approach
* Build a performance-based culture that engages associates to achieve excellence. Qualifications: Education:
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. Experience:
* Minimum 10+ year's extensive strategic planning experience, preferably within a sales domain
* Proven success with developing and executing large scale strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, enterprise-level selling environment.
* Ideal candidate will have strategy consulting background plus in-house strategic planning experience in a Fortune 500 company. Generic Skills:
