  • The eCommerce Demand Planner Specialist contributes to PepsiCo eCommerce success by developing accurate sales forecasts and demand signals for eCommerce items across all customers and PepsiCo business units.
  • The eCommerce Demand planning role is also responsible for business insights that enable advantaged customer performance and deliver incremental productivity.
  • This is accomplished by leveraging data and statistical models to guide the decision making process for the assigned accounts in consultation with other key process stakeholders.
  • This role will collaborate with existing Demand Planning and commercialization teams.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for tool capability and business process requirements for centralized demand planning across business units.
  • Analyze and drive weekly product demand forecast and metrics for the eComm Channel.
  • Maintain and development of new capabilities, provide required trainings and drive best practices across the eComm team.
  • Coordinate and input assumptions for AOP forecast and quarterly updates.
  • Generate and analyze weekly and period reporting and analysis of Demand Planning team metrics.
  • Develop, collaborate and maintain close daily relationships with key contacts in eComm and Business Units to gather intelligence relative to volume/Sales.
  • Coordinate with Innovation/Commercialization and Supply Chain to manage forecasts for new and discontinued products.
  • As appropriate, act as a point of contact for Operations personnel at the demand point to disseminate/clarify information relative to the forecast and/or receive relevant information.
  • Use experience, analysis, reports and gathered intelligence to review history, evaluate the impact of future Business and sales activities on demand and take appropriate actions to adjust or override forecasts (baseline, lift)
  • Lead and support initiatives or projects for continuous improvement of forecasting tool, reporting or business processes.


  • Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Supply Chain or Statistics preferred
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Leadership qualities
  • High proficiency with MS Office products; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
  • High proficiency in relevant analytical tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • 4+ yrs previous experience desired: Sales and/or Operations experience, including Demand and Supply planning and scheduling is an asset
  • Experience in day-to-day business process
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others
