Description:

eCommerce is a rapidly changing and evolving source of growth for PepsiCo, it is imperative for our organization to drive an aggressive growth agenda during the SBP time horizon.

The eCommerce Sales & Capabilities Senior Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of integrated sales and capability strategies for the eCommerce channel and achieving the defined growth. This role will be responsible for a Pure Play customer account, such as Amazon and Amazon Fresh.

The role has several distinct responsibilities and priorities:

  • Manage and coordinate the sales calls with strategic eCommerce customers
  • Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan, with focus on delivering revenue and volume targets
  • Collaborate with the broader North American eCommerce team in developing the Strategic Priorities for the channel and customers
  • Partner with Marketing and Brand Teams to develop eCommerce focused innovation and activation plans that drive awareness, conversion and loyalty
  • Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to support the growth agenda



The ideal candidate for this high-visibility position will be highly influential and capable of driving business priorities with internal and external stakeholders. The candidate must have the capacity to quickly learn the business and stretch through different functional competencies.

This candidate requires outstanding interpersonal skills to work with customers and internal teams, the capability to drive execution while at the same time developing growth strategies and a practical mindset reflected in great problem-solving and a bias for action.


Competencies required for the position include:

  • Customer management experience - as evidenced by previous roles with responsibility for customer strategy and execution
  • Marketing expertise - as evidenced by having supported the development and execution of marketing programs as well as partnering with brands on product innovation
  • Cross-functional \"literacy\" - as evidenced by the ability to work with support functions such as Supply Chain and Finance in capacities ranging from customer planning to product innovation
  • Planning skills - as evidenced by the capability to develop tools such as annual plans and forecasts that incorporate Sales and Marketing input
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities - as evidenced by a track record of finding feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines
  • Strong analytical skills - as evidenced by high intelligence and previous ownership of comprehensive analytical tasks and projects
  • Sounds communication skills - as evidenced by the ability to educate and influence management and staff to act in the best interest of internal and external stakeholders through written and verbal communications
  • Resilience - as evidenced by the courage maintain a positive attitude when faced with obstacles and the willingness to develop alternative approaches to overcome them
  • Bias for action - as evidenced by a track record of taking decisions in to drive the interests of the business while still maintaining highest levels of rigor and compliance
  • Talent Development - as evidenced by a track record of identifying, attracting and developing highly motivated and successful talent or elevating the capabilities of others through strategic development opportunities.
