What You'll Do

Objectives:

  1. Execute co-marketing projects with agreed partners in EMEAR in line with the overall marketing strategy and designed to drive Cisco’s business; working with the global and EMEAR Partner Marketing Managers to ensure a co-ordinated approach.
  2. Innovate and develop digital marketing with agreed partners in EMEAR.
  3. Work with marketing colleagues to ensure content is available for partners to use in their marketing activity.
  4. In order to drive Cisco’s business build strong business relationships with agreed Cisco Regional and country Partner Account Managers.
  5. To build Cisco’s engagement with partners be the regional lead for Cisco’s Velocity event (marketing event for Cisco partners).
  6. Build excellent working relationships global and country colleagues to ensure we are as agile and productive as possible in our execution.

Role and Responsibility:

  • Deliver marketing activity with identified partners that deliver against agreed metrics, including Marketing influence Bookings.
  • Co-ordinate with the Cisco marketing team (global and country) to ensure activity is strategic and joined-up.
  • Monitor the marketing performance of partners Cisco is marketing with. Share insight with partner marketing and business communities to inform investment decisions.
  • Contribute to discussions on the investment of ‘with’ marketing resource to drive the business.
  • Engage with agreed regional business leaders to understand business priorities and communicate marketing capability, strategy and execution.
  • Ensure execution is measurable and review execution and performance to ensure constant learning and improvement.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of the regional market including Cisco’s position within the market, market opportunity, competitive landscape, and marketing activity of agreed competitors with particular attention to partner marketing.
  • Be an advocate for Cisco marketing to internal and external audiences.
  • Develop your marketing knowledge on a regular basis and share this with our partners and your colleagues.

Success will require and be measured by:

  • Successful execution of marketing projects, with agreed partners, delivering metrics including Marketing influenced Bookings.
  • Engagement with colleagues across the marketing and communication organization.
  • Engagement with identified business stakeholders.

Reporting, stakeholders and virtual marketing team:

  • This role reports to the EMEAR Partner Marketing Lead.
  • Agreed business stakeholders include Cisco partner regional leaders and their teams.
  • Country and global partner marketing colleagues.

Required skills, experience, and approach:

  • Proven channel marketing experience.
  • Proven digital marketing experience and an appetite to learn.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, communications and influencing skills who can build relationships at all levels with local, regional and global colleagues as part of a virtual or physical team and across disciplines.
  • A strategic thinker who enjoys execution with good organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects across countries within budgets and to a deadline.
  • Ability to collaborate, lead and work under pressure in a fast-paced matrixed organization.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
