Position Summary:
Arbour-Fuller Hospital is a 103-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Mass. Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. There are also partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.

Arbour-Fuller Hospital is now working in conjunction with Milford Regional Hospital to assist in providing the best possible care to Emergency Department patients requiring further mental health or substance abuse services.

The Milford Emergency Room Case Manager is a liaison between medical staff and outside community substance abuse resources. The Case Manager will be responsible for working with Emergency Department staff to create, educate and implement substance abuse processes, treatment modules and evaluations for ED patients presenting with substance abuse concerns. This clinician will develop comprehensive resource guide for substance abuse outpatient referrals. The Case Manager should have knowledge of community mental health care resources, addictions treatment, SBIRT knowledge and the ability to work with state agencies such as DMH and DCF to ensure favorable patient disposition. The 24 hour per week schedule must cover days and early afternoons. This position may be required to work weekend shifts.


Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or other relevant Master's Degree required

Licensure: Valid MA Licensure required - Must have and LICSW or an LCSW. LICSW is preferred.

Experience: 2 years experience required, Hospital experience preferred
