Our Engagement Specialists have a serious responsibility to make every contact informative, productive, positive, and memorable for what it says about how much we care.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Make outbound calls from an automated dialing system to members who have been diagnosed with diabetes
  • Perform assessments via phone
  • Determine the level of care that the members need moving forward
  • Document all of your work in the system
  • You will make 50 outbound calls a day on average
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Word (ability to create, edit, save, and send documents)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (ability to perform data entry, create, and edit spreadsheets)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Call center experience
  • Experience working in a metrics driven environment where you have quotas / goals to achieve
Soft Skills:
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

This position requires ACHA Level II Background checks (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all Clinicians that have face-to-face contact with members and will require renewal every five years.
