What You'll Do
You will be part of our End-to-End development, testing and customer facing engineering team. This covers both an embedded system
solution product (ConfD) and a network orchestration platform (NSO) for development, testing stability, performance/scaling, and reliability of the products. You will work
closely with our Cisco Services team including development team to drive Solutions and improvements of the product as well support customers.
You will be a passionate and highly motivated software engineer / Network Consulting Engineer who will be responsible for the development, validation and testing for Cisco Network Function Virtualization Infrastructure (NFVI). The Cisco NFVI solution provides virtualized infrastructure for virtual network functions (www.cisco.com/go/nfvi).

Global Delivery Centers (GDC) provides flexible and innovative ways to help meet customer needs while improving profitability for Advanced Services (AS) delivery teams. GDC's highly
technical global resources support customer engagements in all theaters acting as a seamless delivery partner to AS practice and theater teams.
GDCs are located in strategic regions around the globe - Bangalore, Dalian, Mexico City, Krakow and Raleigh (RTP) - enabling a more consistent and relevant customer experience across barriers of time zone, language and local regulations. They are looking for high skilled engineers to work across all cisco architectures like Borderless networks, Collaboration. Datacenter/ Virtualization, Mobility, Video, NGN & OSS.

Who You Are
Our minimum requirements for this role: 
* BS Computer Science/Engineering or MS Computer Science/Engineering
* At least 8-10 years direct, hands-on experience in software test/development
* Advance experience in solution testing methodologies of large complex SW systems.
* Advance experience with Tail-F NSO, Java, Python, XML, JSON, REST, Unix/Linux shell, 
* Familiar with VMWare virtualization, 
* Familiar with protocols NETCONF, RESTCONF, SNMP, etc
* Familiar with Cloud Management technologies such as OpenStack
* Good technical foundation in NMS, Networking (CCNA) or Mobility (equivalent knowledge) is a plus
* Familiar in agile methodologies (SCRUM, etc.)
* Familiar with product training and create intellectual property material 
* Effective working independently and in a team setting, taking a role as mentor for Jr. Members
