Job Title: Engineering Manager – Cellular and Mobility Development

You're a Manager to lead a team of experienced Software Engineers. You will have an understanding of the systems and the technology related to Mobile technologies including 3G, 4G, and LTE. Role & Responsibilities

The Mobility Development Manager is responsible for innovation and execution of Mobility/IoT platforms and applications. Manager will work with multi-functional teams.

  • Lead talented group of engineers to deliver exceptional results by focusing efforts and enabling the team to succeed
  • Deliver mobility and IoT applications/platforms
  • You will be able to inform, educate and encourage employees, working in partnership with all engineering functions and colleagues across the business.

  • Technology leadership skills to include coaching/mentoring/teaching, critical thinking/judgment, facilitation, leading change, and team development.

CSG Enterprise Routing team, Cisco is the industry leader in enterprise networking with a proven track record in building creative wired, wireless, and cellular connected solutions. This particular position is in Mobility Group.

Who You Are

Minimum qualification

  • Typically requires MSEE/CS combined plus 10+ years of related architecture and engineering leadership experience.
  • Excellent knowledge/ hands-on experience with Cellular technologies. Deep understanding of various mobility protocols and standards.
  • Execute development tasks, track and log issues and drive them for successful product delivery.
  • Work closely with product management on requirements and prioritization.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to work multi-functionally.

Desired Skills:

  • Self-motivated, strong sense of ownership, phenomenal teammate.
  • You're able to handle multiple tasks at once and work independently with minimal managerial guidance.
