The NICU Supply Technician performs under the direction of the Registered Nurse and performs various tasks as competency documentation designates. The Advanced Critical Care Supply Tech assists in establishing and maintaining unit par level of supplies and equipment both in supply closets and in patient rooms/hallways. In addition, this individual can assist in properly cleaning equipment and in identifying broken equipment and working with the biomedical department to expedite repair. The NICU Supply Tech also assists with the setting up of invasive procedures.









  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education and job experience as stated in the MST Comparable Education Policy
  • At least six months of recent Hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience, which provided knowledge of basic patient-care activities related to Multi-skilled technician duties'. 



  • Fundamental computer skills and keyboard familiarity
  • Able to speak and write English Fluently
  • Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
