Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for supporting the eTail Sales team in their daily sales and service activities.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
20%- Fulfill orders in accordance with eTail standards and utilize strong customer service skills to service the customers in all areas
20%- Enter and release eTail orders for high volume customers
20%- Prospect for new eTail customers using e-commerce lists and online searches. Sell benefits of partnering with Interline Brands through the eTail program
20%- Keep customers abreast of new products, discontinued products and other pertinent product information updates
10%- Answer incoming calls from customers, place customer orders (submitted either over the phone, via email, or downloaded from customer web portals), send advance shipment notices as applicable, submit electronic invoices as necessary, process customer returns, resolve customer complaints, answer general inquiries and perform other duties
10%- Interact with other departments (IT, Merchandising, Marketing, Purchasing/Inventory Control, Credit, and Quality Assurance) and distribution centers to resolve customer service issues.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports to eTail Manager. Has direct reports.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Environment:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Travel:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 1 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:Assertive team player with positive attitude, high energy level, and ability to establish customer rapport and build relationships for sales.
Product knowledge (plumbing, electrical, maintenance, hardware, HVAC, gas products) a plus but not required.
Strong PC skills, including the Microsoft Suite. Ability to quickly grasp new systems and tools.
Strong problem solving ability, good negotiation and closing skills to drive sales.
Pleasant telephone voice/manner, clear speaking voice, good command of the English language, good listening skills.
Enjoy working with people.
High attention-to-detail and ability to multi-task.
