Position Title: Executive Assistant (Retirement Actuarial )

Job Location: New Jersey-Newark

The Executive Assistant role will report to the Vice President & Actuary of the Retirement Actuarial Valuation & Reporting team. We seek an organized professional who thrives on a fast-paced environment and strives for personal excellence by delivering on time, high quality work, to support multiple senior level executives - handling a variety of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Composing correspondence
  • Managing Outlook emails and busy calendars
  • Arranging travel plans
  • Processing expenses
  • Procurement of supplies and equipment
  • Compile and provide basic analysis of information
  • Scheduling meetings and conference calls (could be large/complex)
  • Assisting with a wide range of special projects
  • Create spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
In addition, you will provide basic office management with such responsibilities as:
  • Managing attendance records
  • Assisting with logistics for off-site meetings and events
  • Manage procurement and security access requests (ISAMS)
  • Handling a variety of projects as assigned



  • 4 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant within a large corporation (financial services background helpful)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Ability to identity/anticipate needs and proactively provide support
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail, high level of initiative and motivation
  • Ability to support several individuals
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous, time-sensitive projects
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
