Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a passionate Executive Chef 2 for an account in Malvern, PA.  A very important and strategic national account partnership requires the skill set of an experienced and talented high level Executive Chef to lead the on-site catering team. This position will lead two sous chefs and will work closely with them to empower and grow their careers.


This position will work closely with the onsite baking team, and the Director of Catering. The Chef will have a passion for food, be highly creative and a passion for sanitation.  The selected candidate must possess a high level of financial acumen, proper costing abilities and have excellent menu development and communication skills. There will be direct client interaction.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.  Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. 
Key Duties
- Implements & coordinates the culinary function. 
- Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
- Manages catering & retail areas.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
-  Manages food & physical safety programs.


Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
