What You'll Do

The key deliverables of this role are to plan, execute and manage all aspects of the Technical Services (TS) EMEAR strategic communications and key meetings, with the objective of increasing the visibility and relevance of the TS leader and TS as an organization within Cisco. We are looking for a proactive and energetic individual with a passion for IT.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare executive messaging and communications for Vice President Technical Services EMEAR.
  • Prepare presentation decks for VP, for internal and external audiences, with strategic TS content.
  • Prepare and distribute organization wide communications such as announcements, information sharing, monthly TS EMEAR Newsletter etc.
  • Identify opportunities to support and help drive the TS Value Proposition from a communications perspective.
  • Engage closely with the Sales Enablement teams to identify opportunities for more efficient delivery of TS messaging.
  • Engage with partners and stakeholders across Cisco to deliver strategically relevant and aligned messaging.
  • Track, understand and collect external analyst insight and include in a relevant and efficient manner as part of TS Communications.
  • Have a keen interest and understanding the importance of keeping up to date on current affairs in the IT marketplace.
  • Fully understand and communicate the strategic direction of TS EMEAR put into context of Cisco’s and our Services’ organization’s strategy.
  • Collaborate with and manage within a virtual team environment.
  • Plan and drive overall alignment around strategic messaging and incorporate into the messaging to the TS organization through key meetings and events.
  • In close collaboration with the Executive Admin team, plan and execute the strategic meetings for the year and collect and create content for those events.
 

Who You Are

  • Min. 10 years’ experience in managing executive Communications (at least 5 years in the Software industry)
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in Managing a Team - People Development
  • Experience in working with Executive level management
  • Proven ability to research and understand new concepts, ideas and trends in the Services and IT sector and ability to translate those to concise and impactful communications.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally and on a global level
  • Organized & structured
  • Ability to work effectively, prioritizing the tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Collaborative approach and ability to influence people in right direction
  • Some business travel expected
