Job Details


To provide contract management, operational management, financial management, planning and reporting for a variety of services as part of the sites services and IFM functions.

In particular, to manage a number of facilities service suppliers e.g. elevators, fire life safety equipment, motorized doors, dock levelers, landscaping, space planning, janitorial, roof wall & floor maintenance. What in general could be termed the building fabric.

This role focuses on ensuring the longevity of our assets, ensuring best practice maintenance is in place and optimizing service performance from our suppliers to meet our customers' needs.

Driving continuous improvement from all suppliers, troubleshooting and faultfinding service delivery processes.

Establishing customer needs, objectively measuring customer service and establishing objective KPI's based on the agreed service contract.

The job-holder works as part of a multi-functional team and will be expected to be flexible and agile in support of the group's overall mission.


+ Develop a management process for the day to day management of suppliers.

+ Put in place a daily, weekly and monthly process for overseeing the operation of the services being delivered.

+ Budget annually for all services. Manage and report performance monthly.

+ Manage expectations of both suppliers and customers.

+ Put in place an objective process for measuring and communicating service performance for each supplier.

+ Develop tender packages for all services and oversee the process with support of Procurement.

+ Oversees infrastructure repairs and minor renovation projects.

+ Set finishes standards for buildings and participate

+ Establish and implement preventative maintenance programs via Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS).

+ Work to streamline all services where appropriate using technological solutions instead of labor.

+ Develop asset lifecycle plan for all assets e.g. Lifts, Cafeteria eqpt. etc and seek Opex/Capex approval for all upgrades and replacements.

+ Develop Space Planning strategy for the site and implement when Capex approved.

+ Oversee the establishment of SOP's and Guidance Documents.

+ Have a working knowledge of cGMP and ensure that all work is completed without compromise all regulatory guidelines.

+ Participate in all Manufacturing investigations where appropriate.

+ Responsible for departmental work order processes via the Enterprise Asset Management System.

+ Ownership of Quality Tracking System (QTS) deliverables


+ Minimum qualification BS in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

+ A minimum of 5 Years cGMP industrial experience, ideally covering Operations, Engineering, Projects and Validation within a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

+ In depth understanding of Facilities operations on a large site.

+ Good supplier management and customer interface skills.

+ Previous work experience in Health Care/Medical Devices/ Pharmaceutical manufacturing sector preferred and have an understanding of the cGMP requirements of the role.


+ Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, ability to perform mathematical calculations and ability to perform complex data analysis


+ First Shift Monday - Friday

+ Extended hours required during semiannual plant maintenance periods (Shutdowns) and as needed to facilitate building maintenance.
