Sodexo is seeking a Facilities / Engineering Manager 1 for Langston University in Langston, OK.  This is a first shift position managing about 22 employees working with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other hard facilities management services.

Key Responsibilities:

Combine your proven leadership and Facilities Management technical expertise to enhance existing or new client programs including short and long range planning, construction/renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, grounds and landscaping, janitorial, mail room operations, shipping and receiving, laboratory services and data center management services.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments;
  • 3+ years of facilities maintenance management experience preferably at a university or college;
  • Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC;
  • prior experience working with a CMMS preferably Maximo;
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding;
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship building and communication skills;
  • Strong Leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building.

Position Summary

Supervises hourly staff providing facilities maintenance and engineering services to clients. Responsible for work force planning, QA training, and administrative functions of the designated area of supervision. May report to GM in smaller accounts, or to an Ops Manager in a larger account, or to another manager level.
