Sodexo has a new challenging position for a strong Facilities Coordinator in Kent, Washington; with a background in facilities maintenance and strong customer service and computer skills.  Serving our client, Alaska Airlines, our Sodexo team is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of over 100 Alaska facility locations throughout the lower 48, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico as well as the Caribbean. 


This position will serve to help coordinate and schedule the activities of skilled trades, custodial, or grounds workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for managing all work within their defined scope of locations (commercial properties, SEA/PDX airport properties, or all other airport properties). The Facilities Coordinator will schedule and assign work to in-house technicians and/or vendors as needed for maintenance; follow up with work to ensure it is completed as requested; and will perform other administrative functions and services.


This position reports to the Director and will work directly with the Operations Manager for day-to-day activities in addition to serving as a backup to the Operations Manager when the manager is out of the office.


Ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of building maintenance, contract management skills, excellent verbal and written communications, customer service focus, strong computer skills, and ability to multi-task.


Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) is a plus

Position Summary

Serves as working lead supervisor or coordinator to schedule the activities of skilled trades, custodial or grounds workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds. Gives work assignments to workers as needed for maintenance. Performs administrative functions and services. Leads in building maintenance projects.



Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
