Job Description

Senior Field Marketing Manager, Midwest Region will leverage PepsiCos powerhouse beverage brands (Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Lipton, Sierra Mist, and Gatorade) to deliver breakthrough marketing programs that grow brand health and drive volume for Midwest Region Franchise Bottlers, PBCs Chicago Market and other responsibilities as assigned. The Senior Manager is responsible for amplifying and executing national brand programs at a regional level. They are also responsible for developing marketing programs leveraging regional sports and customers. They are responsible for collaborating with Senior FDMs to align on Franchise marketing activation to meet business objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Regionalize brand plans to grow share and deliver region revenue targets:
    • Primary responsibility for largest regional brands; Develop and implement premier marketing programs for in assigned territories
    • Lead programming development and activation for key GMA-aligned initiatives, including Big Bets for bottlers
    • Build, communicate, and activate regional playbooks to support priority brands
    • Partner with cross-functional team to drive impactful marketing programs that have scale, are repeatable, and improve efficiency and effectiveness in market
    • Fully leverage sport partnerships to drive regional affinity for brands
    • Leverage consumer and commercial insights to strengthen program development
  • Executing Big Bet innovation with excellence by leveraging tools to drive authorization, distribution, and trial/awareness
    • Launch innovation priorities through sampling, customer specific programming, and consumer engagement
  • Serve as primary relationship owner with prestige sports properties
    • Develop in-game and in-store activations that elevate brands
    • Bring the brands to life within sport venues, including via arena signage and physical program booklets

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • A minimum of 7 years prior Marketing experience (if undergrad degree only) OR 5 years of prior Marketing experience (if Advanced degree)
  • Prior Brand, Field or Shopper Marketing experience within consumer packaged goods
  • Strong team leadership and talent development skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong collaboration, project management and influencing skills within a matrix environment
  • Strong written and oral communications skills required with the ability to partner at all levels of the organization
  • Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal/external senior leaders
  • Must be willing and able to travel 25% of the time
