Job Description

Main purpose of the role

As a Financial Reporting Analyst you ensure the accurate financial reporting for all businesses combining managerial (BeNeLux) & non-managerial (other countries like Nordics, Germany, Austria and Switzerland) reporting for all the legal entities in the BeNeLux. You act as an intermediary between the business and the 3th party SSC for GL related matters and you take ownership for the activities performed by the 3th party SSC regarding the financial close process. Furthermore, you are responsible for preparing the financial positions which are outside of the SSC responsibilities and you proactively propose solutions for process improvements.

This means that you ensure compliance to the accounting policies and that you forecast and analyze the Operating Free Cash Flow of the total Benelux BU. Furthermore, you will be the process owner for the Benelux treasury processes. You will also manage special non-routine balance sheet positions and warrant zero surprise. You report to the Reporting Manager BeNeLux and you support him in implementing projects. You are based in our HQ in Utrecht.

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • You have a master degree in Finance & Accounting.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in Accounting & Control, preferably in an international and complex environment or/ and within BIG 4.
  • You have strong analytical skills and affinity with IT systems; a good knowledge of SAP and HFM is highly preferred.
  • You have a solid knowledge of USGAAP and strong MS Excel skills.
  • Languages : you are fluent in English; a good knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • You can work autonomous, are proactive, rigorous and organized.
