The PGIM Controllership team currently has an opening for an Associate supporting both PGIM Real Estate Finance and Prudential Capital Group (“PCG”) businesses. Your role in this team will support senior management and other business partners in measuring and evaluating the financial performance of the business by providing timely, accurate financial reports and insightful analysis of business drivers behind the results, while maintaining appropriate internal controls.

  • Ensure the accuracy, reasonability and completeness of GAAP financial results, including the balance sheet and income statement
  • Assist with the monthly and quarterly financial close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
  • Provide insightful and impactful analytics of the financial results to various audiences, including senior management
  • Develop and support internal control standards to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other external accounting policies and standards
  • Review and implement new accounting guidance as needed
  • Respond to annual audit requests and provide well supported documentation
  • Assist in special projects, as well as propose and drive process enhancements  
Specific responsibilities for the position will vary over time based on business needs and other factors.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
  • Advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA, CPA or CFA) is a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or reporting
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Proven ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results
