The PGIM Controllership team currently has an opening for a Financial Reporting Specialist supporting PGIM Fixed Income. Your role in this team will support senior management and other business partners in measuring and evaluating the financial performance of the business by providing timely, accurate financial reports and insightful analysis of business drivers behind the results, while maintaining appropriate internal controls.

  • Ensure the accuracy, reasonability and completeness of monthly GAAP financial results for core and strategic business.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial close process and provide insightful and impactful analytics of the financial results to various audiences, including senior management
  • Take the lead role in reviewing and reconciling cash transactions, supporting documents, and preparing ledger entries.
  • Develop and support internal control standards to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and/or other external accounting policies and standards
  • Review and implement new accounting guidance as needed
  • Respond to, and assist with annual audit / ad-hoc requests prepare presentation as needed
  • Assist in special projects, as well as propose and drive process enhancements  

Specific responsibilities for the position will vary over time based on business needs and other factors.




Required Qualifications: 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or reporting
  • Strong computer skills, must have a firm working knowledge of excel. Oracle experience is a plus.



Preferred Qualifications:


·         Advanced degree and/or relevant certification (MBA, CPA, CFA)

·         Proven ability to analyze data and the underlying drivers of financial results.
