What You'll Do

You will increase Cisco sales and leasing volumes in the UKI region by effectively providing a broad range of creative financial solutions. You communicate and integrate with the country sales force and solicit their support in identifying financial opportunities for Cisco Capital.

Moreover, you educate Cisco sales colleagues such that they appreciate creative financing solutions can increase, build or pull forward sales opportunities. You will be closely involved in customer negotiation.

Relationships: 

  • Reports to the Cisco Capital Regional Sales Manager for the UKI Region.
  • Strong relationships with Cisco Channel Partners as they are the route to market for Cisco solutions in this segment.
  • As a sales lead act as a mentor, guide and advisor to Cisco sales colleagues.
  • Builds deep relationships at all levels of the in-country Cisco sales force.
  • Cisco end clients with a focus on the CFO and key financial decision makers.
  • Works closely with the Cisco Capital back-office.
  • Aligns with colleagues in other countries to share and develop best practice.

Deliverables: 

  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual lease target.
  • Provide creative deal structuring for strategic sales opportunities.
  • Present, negotiate and close financial solutions to customers.
  • Carry out documentation to Cisco Capitals guidelines including preparing internal paperwork needed to turn a lease transaction around (e.g. write-ups, legal term sheet etc).
  • Align closely with Cisco's Goals and Initiatives of the relevant fiscal year within the sales geography, specifically: leased target volumes, contribution.
  • Communicate with and train Cisco segment Operation Director, Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, Inside Account Managers and Service Managers with regards to Capitals financial solutions portfolio.
  • Develop strong relationships with Regional Sales Managers and Operation Directors within the country for product and services sales.
  • Be part of Cisco Account Managers' business planning on selected accounts.
  • Provide an outstanding level of service to our customers, Cisco and end user.
  • Proactively contribute to the overall Cisco customer relationship.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor activities.

  • You have a proven strong track record in sales with experience in solution led selling of financial solutions (essential)

  • You are a sales "hunter": capable of working with Cisco sales force to develop greenfield opportunities (essential)
  • You are a sales "farmer": Cisco has superb ongoing relationships that need protecting and improving, so you will bring solid account management skills and track record (essential)
  • You have a good knowledge of commercial models such as Pay as you Grow, utility and/or consumption based (advantageous)
  • You work as a part of a team and not as a solo player (essential)
  • You have a broad knowledge of commercial documentation and are able to negotiate and explain documentation with/to customers (advantageous)
  • You are able to communicate and negotiate with board/director /CFO-level and have a track record of influencing such decision makers (essential)
  • You are very well skilled in calculating payment over time options and are familiar with lease-related (advantageous)
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, both oral and in writing (essential)
  • You are to provide accurate sales forecasting (essential)
  • You are experienced with CRM tools like salesforce.com (advantageous)
  • You are able to structure complex financial transactions (essential)
