Description:

Position will be based out of Portland, OR, reporting directly to the Mountain Senior Fleet Manager with fleet responsibilities for the Oregon Market, consisting of the Portland, Corvallis, Medford, Tillamook, Nampa and Twin Falls Idaho locations.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Fleet Market Manager contributes to The Pepsi Beverage's Company success by overseeing the regular and preventative maintenance of all fleet equipment in order to fulfill customer needs. This person is responsible for the management of skilled fleet mechanics, and effectively dealing with the requests of the customers supported, Sales, Warehouse and Pepsi Equipment Services.


General Duties:

  • Demonstrates knowledge and has the ability to train others in troubleshooting, repair procedures and preventative maintenance of fleet equipment
  • Ensures equipment and individual compliance with all environmental, Department of Transportation (DOT) and Health and Safety regulations
  • Sets and manages performance related to the financial and individual targets supporting the Annual Operating Plan objectives and Fleet standards
  • Manages performance standards to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, safety and Fleet standards


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of fleet maintenance experience is required
  • Associates Degree is required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience managing and leading the performance of people is required
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Experience in consumer packaged products or related industry is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of forecasting and managing financials.
