Description

Job Summary: 
Senior Account Manager position with a rapidly growing automotive transportation company.  The position consists of sales management, telephone sales and account management of our transportation services to auto dealerships nationwide.  Dealer leads are provided by management through our electronic CRM system as well as through multiple integrations with the industry’s largest wholesale automobile auctions.  Position can be based in Florida or the East Coast.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and direct a small sales team effectively in an effort to maintain and grow the team’s customer base
oSales team comprised of 1 additional account manager and 2 sales administrators 
Sell our transportation services to auto dealerships, private parties and institutional accounts nationwide
Develop strong relationships with accounts to ensure long-term, repeat business
Contact new dealers by utilizing a national list of dealers provided by management
Generate a high volume of outbound sales calls daily while building your territory
Manage inbound orders in addition to monitoring and providing updates on existing orders
Communicate effectively internally with operations, dispatch and accounting departments


Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:
Very strong telephone sales skills
Minimum 2 years successful sales management experience
Ability to develop and maintain quality, long-term relationships
Skilled at managing multiple tasks in fast paced, quickly changing environment 
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Must be detail oriented with good judgment and problem solving skills
Be able to communicate effectively and professionally 
Ability to effectively manage a small team 
Able to work efficiently under pressure 
Self motivated, reliable and dependable
Experienced with Microsoft operating systems
Demonstrate a stable employment history
College degree preferred
Automotive industry knowledge is preferred
