AFH Chef

  • Provide strategic Culinary Leadership in partnering with R&D, Marketing, Consumer Insights and seasonings by prioritizing, directing and employing internal and external culinary resources to projects in order to leverage the influence of culinary trends, ingredients and methods. Support the Culinary Strategic Planks:
  • Enhance product development through the integration of Culinary Arts and leveraging the discipline of Culinology.
  • Culinary support for product activation and customer support.
  • Elevate awareness, and maintain, and evolve culinary culture in the organization.

Culinary Product Development:

  • Support Inspirational Culinary Presentations
  • Develop and Document Culinary Gold Standard Prototypes
  • Prioritize and support culinary resources for all growth and innovation planning activities.

Culinary Activation:

  • Receive and prioritize requests from Brand Activation Teams.
  • Plan and support recipe development for AFH Customers
  • Support Project Specific Culinary Ideations and Immersions
  • Support culinary presentation and tours for Top to Top meetings, customer visits and growth summits
  • Prioritize and provide culinary resources for Foodservice Industry Relations

Culinary Culture and Skills Development:

  • Function as a Culinary Ambassador for FLNA to the entire PepsiCo organization.

Culinary Innovation Center Operations:

  • Oversee and ensure all food items are prepared to standards. Ensure production is ready and quality is met. Ensure product is delivered on a timely basis.
  • Develop and implement culinary recipes and gold standard formulas
  • Track food costs, purchases, waste control, and product utilization
  • Develop systems to prevent or minimize breakage and loss of equipment

Minimum Education Required:

  • Formal Culinary Degree or Work Equivalent

Education Preferred:

  • Bachelor Degree, Major in Culinary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Formal, Culinary Arts Training
  • A thorough knowledge of food preparation and presentation
  • Fine dining/restaurant and catering expertise or equivalent education 1-5 years
  • Ability to develop menus and recipes
  • Experience with purchasing and maintaining inventory levels
  • Knowledge of current culinary trends
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • A thorough knowledge of food preparation and presentation
