Aramark Canada is hiring for a Food Service Hospitality Manager to be on-site with one of our growing clients in East Toronto.  


As a Food Service Hospitality Manager you will work with the client to create innovative and trendy food experiences by overseeing daily catering needs for Breakfast and Lunch from Monday to Friday for approximately 300 employees. You will also have oversight for catering special events. You will be responsible for managing catering purchases, inventory and budget. Teamwork is important to providing superior customer and food service so you will set the stage for excellent teamwork through the leadership and development of your team. You will be accountable for delivering innovative food offerings and quality products while meeting health and safety standards and building strong client relations.



You will be responsible for:

  • Ensure all operating standards are achieved
  • Grow Catering business through Marketing initiatives
  • Assist in menu development
  • Arranging, setting-up, maintaining and tearing down of breakfast and lunch catering
  • Ensuring pantries are stocked and maintained
  • Ensure all food and beverage service equipment is well maintained and in working condition
  • Supervising, scheduling, training and developing staff
  • Identifying key talent, recruiting, staffing
  • Keeping a clean, organized and sanitary workspace at all times
  • Develop and build catering business
  • Monitor financial operating results in order to achieve company and client objectives
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Manage all aspects of Food Safety
  • Ensure adherence to Aramark’s policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to Aramark’s Health and Safety Programs
  • Ensure that all outside personnel such as agency waiters meet Aramark standards and are well informed about the job we require them to do according to the functions, special events and delivery.
  • Being client focused and a business partner to resolve client concerns in a timely manner 


  • Background in restaurant business, preferably in a Chef Manager capacity with 2- 4 years of catering experience
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Hospitality management or related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staff
  • Demonstrated experience in successful business growth
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
  • Ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others
  • Excitement for the work you are doing
  • Demonstrated ability to multi task and be organized
