Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada. This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization.

Position Summary:

The Full Line Vending Food Service Sales Asst Supervisor (Delivery Supervisor) is responsible for managing the delivery drivers as well as all delivery functions for their location. This involves making scheduling changes, route changes and covering routes when necessary. This also includes training new employees as well as any ongoing training of existing employees. This role will also oversee the warehouse functions. The main accountabilities of the FLV Delivery Supervisor include: Implementing plans for achieving route sales volumes, managing route spoilage and overseeing day to day output from the overall delivery driver force.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all vending route driver activities
  • Make route and schedule changes to drive route efficiencies
  • Train all new delivery drivers
  • Perform ongoing training of existing drivers
  • Cover driver vacations and open routes when necessary
  • Manage Route spoilage
  • Assist sales team with customer retention and resolving minor customer issues
  • Oversee warehouse functions if there isn't a warehouse supervisor
  • Drive and ensure constant communication between the FLV functions, drivers and customers
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, industry associations and business leaders
  • Coordinate with operations and warehouse to ensure proper customer service and standards
  • Provide timely and effective coaching to ensure success of team
  • Adhering and implementing Standard Operating Procedures to meet Control and compliance regulations
  • Performing route audits for each driver twice a month

Basic Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/some continuing education preferred
  • Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license
  • Must possess strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven organization and planning skills
  • Highly motivated, always has the commitment to succeed and is able to work independently
  • Must be able to handle stress and meet established deadlines
  • Must possess the skills and knowledge to sell
  • Must have a proven track record in driving sales opportunities
  • Must have a proven track record of building trust and credibility with customers and peers
  • Basic computer skills
