Pepsi Beverages Company (PBC) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada. This position will be of the North America Beverage organization.


The Food Service Franchise Area Manager supports the Sr. FS Franchise Development Manager in leading the development, coordination and monitoring of market execution tactics with key focus on increasing key distribution measures, driving volume growth and improving trade execution. The FS FAM will be primarily accountable to ensure all local and national initiatives are executed to help build Pepsi-Cola brands within the bottler franchise territory. This FS FAM will be responsible for volume and distribution and strategy for the selected franchise bottlers. The FS FAM is instrumental in coordinating and organizing all retail initiatives with the respective Independent Bottlers (IBs) and their teams. It is critical to develop strong relationships with the IBs, their teams and the distributors. The FS FAM is also responsible for anticipating and developing solutions to barriers and providing on-going process feedback to the Sr. FS Franchise Development Manager and bottler constituents.

  • Ensure national and local brand/marketing programs are flawlessly executed:
    • respective display requirements
    • equipment placement
    • all \"Look of a Leader\" Point of Purchase
  • Execution of mandated plan-o-grams and joint account priorities
  • Track and communicate competitive activity and develop action plans to respond
  • Drive marketplace distribution
  • Evaluate scorecard and establish priorities to achieve distribution targets on key brands/packages & review with team on weekly basis
  • Alignment with PBC counterparts on existing and new business opportunities
  • Key package development in marketplace, i.e. drive SS growth, new business opportunities
  • Generate new business while managing large local funding and quick start support
  • Lead AOP planning and development for IBs, ensuring system alignment and successful execution of annual priorities


  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, MBA a plus
  • Food Service or consumer packaged goods experience
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrated analytical and math skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft suite
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
