**Role Summary:** At Pfizer, we have brought our global analytics capabilities across R&D and commercial under one powerful new organization - Business Analytics (BA) that drives insights to action for some of the most critical business questions for the company.

The BA Scaled Analytics team, is a center-led organization that delivers both Center of Expertise and Self-Service capabilities across the organization. The Global Analytic Methodology Center (GAMC) within Scaled Analytics provides global support in the areas of Promotional Resource Allocation, Field Force Design and Forecasting and is the custodian of mature advanced analytics methodologies with responsibility to frame long term analytic strategies that grow analytics impact.

The Forecasting enablement lead is responsible for leading a team of ~3 colleagues to provide forecasting services in prioritized global markets and regions for specific TAs (Therapeutic Areas) or assets with expected collective annual revenues in excess of $10BB. The forecasting enablement lead also leads the design and governance of forecasting platforms including technology and sourcing in order to most effectively deliver forecasting services.

**Role Responsibilities:**

**Forecasting Strategy and Delivery**

+ Lead a team of ~3 forecasters to deliver high quality guidance for financial targets, demand forecasts and forecast related consulting services for inline, pipeline and external opportunities for a subset of Pfizer TA's or assets in order to facilitate strategic planning both globally and in priority regions

+ Lead the design and governance of Scaled Analytics forecasting platforms that enable efficient delivery of high quality forecasting services while partnering with other members of the forecasting team in order to understand TA specific requirements

+ Lead interactions with forecasting stakeholders including Finance, Business Development, Marketing, and Strategy, facilitate alignment on forecast process and assumptions across these organizations

+ Develop a roadmap for forecast tools and forecast process automation and enablement, ensuring forecasting stakeholder buy-in at each stage of development

+ Leverage knowledge of supported TAs to guide BA secondary analytics strategy by providing context and highlighting TA specific nuances


+ Lead a team of ~3 individuals to develop a high functioning forecasting ecosystem and deliver accurate forecasts

+ Provide leadership, mentoring and development guidance to team members; ensuring effective leadership and development throughout the function

+ Ensure 100% compliance to CEP rules, regulations and guidelines.

**Performance Measures**

+ Client and Business Analytics Partner Feedback

+ Demonstrable increase in scale and effectiveness of forecasts delivered

+ Coaching and Development of direct reports

+ 100% of Projects in compliance with CEP regulations



+ Degree in analytics related areas including management science, business decision analysis, statistics/data science, economics, finance etc


+ 10+ years of strong multi-disciplinary analytics experience, with a focus on forecasting and Commercial Assessment

+ Strong team player, ability to maintain strong cross-functional and cross-team ties to influence colleagues outside direct reporting structure.

**Technical skills and competencies:**

+ Experience designing and operating programs that involve organizing and enabling cross-functional teams to deliver forecasting services

+ Extensive experience developing sales volume-based, patient-based, and epidemiology forecasts of pharmaceutical sales and product market share

+ Expertise in time series analysis and statistical methods used in forecasting

+ Strong strategic, conceptual and analytical thinking combined with the ability to lead and build relationships with partners to quickly understand business strategies, identify needs and build effective solutions.

+ Proven ability to recognize interactions between insights, identify trends, proactively recognize future business needs and link them to current and future analytics.

+ Exceptional communicator: Can readily align interpersonal style with the individual needs; can understand, translate, and distill the complex, technical concepts to a layperson

+ Highly collaborative: Shares responsibility and credit; develops self and others through teamwork; comfortable working in global environment and across time zones

+ Strong at project management: Clearly articulates scope and deliverables of projects; breaks complex initiatives into detailed component parts and sequences actions appropriately; develops action plans and monitors progress independently
