Responsible for processing raw materials into in-process and finished goods via bulk formulation and assembly of the final packaged product by means of a large-scale industrial operations in company facilities or by external partners. Includes manufacturing such as: API (active pharmaceutical ingredient), Drug Product, Drug Substance/ABI (active biological ingredient) and non-pharmaceutical. Determines manufacturing methods, procedures, and tooling requirements. Schedules, sources and manages logistics to ensure raw material availability. This position is a Formulation Operator in the Injectable Manufacturing and Tank Assembly organization of PGM. This is an entry level position, performing and learning basic techniques, processes, and operations or preparing sterile medicines and formulation equipment. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards and all regulatory requirements. Responsible for completing all OJT's and tasks required to perform job duties which include documentation, computers, equipment, work practices within aseptic areas, and production of all defined routine products. Demonstrates ablility to properly problem solve work-related issues, work with an appropriate level of independence, exercise good judgment/decision making, and effectively work with team members. All Leader Behaviors are reliably demonstrated at a "Consistently Met" level of performance.







Accountable for activities involved in the production of pharmaceutical drug products.







Education: High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus either an Associates degree or 6 months related experience (e.g. current or previous Pfizer colleague; Manufacturing, or Veterans/Military relevant experience)



Preferred: Drug manufacturing experience.







Basic administrative and/or standardized, semi-skilled work routines; operation of non-complex technical and/or mechanical tools and equipment. Demonstrated interpersonal leadership and accountability in day-to-day interactions with an operational focus on customer needs and process requirements is required. Considerable demonstrated skills in communicating (oral and written) effectively with diverse individuals/groups; facilitating trust and understanding; and developing, influencing and managing work, employee and customer relationships.







Physical Demands: Job tasks may include frequent bending, lifting, and twisting motions. Ability to stand upright for several consecutive hours. Absence of any medical restrictions which could restrict completion of all required duties. Additional demands are area specific.



Work Environment: Colleague may be exposed to airborne particles which requires appropriate safety protection, noise levels may require protective hearing devices, eye protection required. Practices and promotes safe working environmental at all times. Area specific gowning will be required.
