As a subsidiary of UHS, Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine is seeking a dynamic and talented Front Desk Receptionist-PRN.

At the Windsor-Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, we work together to provide the skill development, medication and therapies that individuals need to rebuild their lives.


Key Responsibilities include:

Answers the main hospital telephones, pages staff and physicians and performs duties of operator and answering service attendant per departmental policy and procedure guidelines. Greets and signs in visitors, vendors and outside contractors. Logs in packages and items left for patients. Provides direction and information to visitors and guests.


Job Requirements

::High school diploma or equivalent required. One year experience as a switchboard operator or receptionist preferred. Basic keyboarding skills required. Knowledge of personal computers is preferred. Excellent verbal communication skills required. Must be able to remain calm under stress. Experience with basic office equipment required (fax, copier, etc.)

Must be flexible with availability.  This position will work primarily weekends, evenings and some holidays.  Can occasionally pick up a day shift during the week.
