Develop new user-facing features

Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Be a Technical mentor/coach for junior team members

Ensure development best practices and lead by example

#LI-SH2Minimum Qualifications: BS/MS in Computer Science or related area

5+ years of Front End development experience

Expert knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and Node.js

Proficient with Chrome Developer Tools

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Proficient understanding of REST APIs and knowledge of how to interface with them

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

Experience with highly scalable and available applications

Experience in Agile, SCRUM

Experience with version control systems, preferably GitAdditional Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Ember, BackboneJS, AngularJS, React and JS-based build tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower
