The Fulfillment Inbound & Warehouse Manager is primarily responsible for leading Inbound / Receiving (IB) and Warehouse (WHS) operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, engaging, motivating, coaching, and leading teams to work safely and execute work and functional processes pertaining to receiving, tracking, and auditing of inbound product, putaway processes into active stock or warehouse space, storage capacity management, and inventory and quality control across multiple days/shifts while maintaining warehouse organization and brand standards in our mail-order fulfillment pharmacies. This position will lead a team of 15-30 employees depending on site.

Additionally, IB/WHS Managers need to be creative problem solvers who are able to interpret and monitor data and trends, and effectively manage employee behaviors and performance to deliver meaningful results that keenly drive productivity and efficiency, and deliver on quality standards. The ability to appropriately prioritize and sequence how work is executed, along with delivering solutions that are flexible and agile as both our network and pharmacy strategy and operations evolves, will be critical. The IB/WHS Manager will be responsible for leading all inventory functions such as regular cycle counting and annual inventory processes to ensure inventory accuracy and control.

The IB/WHS Manager will require a deep understanding of the pharmacy fulfillment operations with respect to business operations, processes, compliance/regulatory requirements, priorities and team health/culture. Proven ability to work within a matrixed environment, lead teams through great transformation, and identify and solve complex issues are a necessity to be successful in this role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience Warehouse management software systems

  • Deployment of new software systems

  • Operations experience

  • Inbound, Warehouse, and Inventory experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Has worked in leadership roles preferably in fulfillment / distribution or pharmacy space

  • Able to be flexible in work schedule / hours to meet work demand

  • Lifting and moving material up to 50 lbs

  • Flexible working 2nd shift when necessary

  • Bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head

  • Standing and walking for up to 8 ? 10 hours a day

  • Operating non-motorized/motorized equipment when necessary


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Lean and Six Sigma
  • Inbound, Warehouse, and Inventory experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and passion in engaging, motivating, and coaching teams that fosters a healthy work environment and culture
  • Ability to inspire team members and leaders to achieve outstanding results and support initiatives
  • Ability to effectively communicate various information to keep teams informed
  • Supporting and advocating a safe work environment compliant with OSHA standards
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and results,and drive toward insight and solutions
  • Ability to drive cross functional teams and identify, solve and or raise critical issues related to operational issues
  • Has hands-on experience of mail-order pharmacy or fulfillment operations and technology solutions such as a Warehouse Management System
  • Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives that fosters a culture of continuous improvement
  • Acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance / regulatory and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
  • Evaluate performance objectives and metrics to determine productivity requirements to achieve  efficiency, time, accuracy, quality, and member expectations
  • Build and deliver productivity plans by reviewing forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with site leadership to balance labor costs
  • High degree of comfort with ambiguity and has the ability to challenge the status quo
  • Ability and desire to get involved in the details of the business
  • Has the comfort working / leading across matrix organizations and ability to drive change
  • Ability to articulate issues and solutions clearly and concisely
  • Has the ability to use technology for solving the problem at scale
