The Core Software Group (CSG) develops software across the routing, switching, and wireless platform portfolio at Cisco. CSG is investing significantly to transform the future of networking for our customers. The Operations Team enables the success of CSG by driving process development and deployment, program management and business operations initiatives.

Who You Are
The Role
This position is part of CSG Operations group to build Web Applications. The ideal candidate will have the following background and characteristics.
- J2EE developer with architect type qualities that include things such as security, performance.
-Strong experience in Web Technologies (Java 2 EE, JSP, Servlets, Springs, Struts, XML)
- Good understanding of JavaScript Framework like Angular.js
- Web Application design and development, Data analysis/modeling
- Understanding of Databases, ability to write SQL and PL/SQL.
- Need have good understanding if we have to integrate reports/web services from other Apps
- Adaptability and time management skills to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal relationship building is a requirement;  
- PHP, Ruby on Rails, Perl/CGI (nice to have)
- Working knowledge and hands on experience with CA Agile Central Loop-Back API’s (nice to have)
- Experience with building integration with Rally (CA Agile Central) and other tools such as Github, Jenkins, CA PPM, etc (nice to have)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Technical Evaluation and Design
- Understand Business Context of requirements to evaluate technology and solutions
- Provide technical input to requirements
- Provide technical analysis and recommendations (e.g. feasibility / impact / technical risk)
- Develop/contribute to Technical Project Plan
- Create / Contribute to design (e.g. high or low level; overall system; UI design, data flow / model, exception handling; pseudo code;)
- Conduct or participate in design Reviews

Development, Deployment and Support
 - Develop / generate code (e.g. hands-on coding, configuration, use of orchestration tools / packages, version control)
- Assess impact of change requests; generate options / implications; recalibrate plans; advise team members
- Conduct or consult on testing (e.g. stress / load testing; systems, integration, and regression testing; collaborate with PMO to transfer knowledge, review test plans, fix bugs; provide support for UAT)
- Deploy code to production (e.g. deploy code to Stage; build deployment plan; build deployment scripts / packages)
- Transfer knowledge to operations (e.g. conduct or participate in knowledge transfer meetings; provide relevant documentation; address ad-hoc questions on ongoing basis)

Communication/Documentation/Planning Deliverables and Associated Authoring Tools
-    Program Plans: MS Word, Excel, MS Project, Visio, Wiki/HTML development
-    Meeting Minutes, Action Item Tracking Workbooks: Word, Excel, SharePoint
-    Produce high quality documentation (e.g. Requirements, Document design, code, and processes to ensure reuse / succession of ownership)
-    Communicate status (e.g. report on progress against technical plan; timely escalation of issues and risks)

Requirement
1.     BS, CS or equivalent plus 7-15 years of technical development experience. J2EE certification preferred
2.    Full Stack experience
3.    Architect with coding experience required.


**SKILLS - ROLE CRITICAL**
Minimum 4-6years’ experience using Web Technologies (J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript (Angular.js), Springs, Struts, XML), Web Services (Rest API) , Unix Shell scripting, Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL). ETL.
