Position Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
We are looking for a tech savvy candidate with a sharp eye for style and design. In this role, you will carry the torch as we blaze trails in the world of product visualization. Additionally, you will be responsible for owning, creating, shooting and managing photography assets for our suite of websites.

This is a high energy job for someone with project management prowess and a knack for marketing who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. You will channel your inner DIYer each and every day while creating Pinterest-worthy room merchandising and advertising assets. Most days you’ll be answering the question, “how can we take this to the next level?” And you will experiment with new technology, processes, techniques and more to find the answers.

We need a professional who is highly organized, self-driven and isn’t afraid to take charge of situation. You’ll manage media projects large and small and take our product representation to the next level.

In this role, you will not only put your eye for style to use every day, but you’ll get to show everyone how tech savvy you are by managing and creating our media assets on and offline. Your people skills won’t go to waste either as you work with different teams across the company and even across the company. Help us grow our expertise while we continuously improve and chase our 20/20 Vision!

Why work here? Our entrepreneurial roots and maverick mentality, coupled with the resources and backing of the #1 home improvement retailer in the world, The Home Depot, is a unique opportunity for you to be a transformative retail disrupter. Plus, GCC is the world’s largest online window covering company, and we’ve got a demonstrably awesome 20-year track record. From our open-floor office to our open-door ethos, our culture is rooted in improving, evolving, and having fun (we’re pretty serious about cake, cook-offs, ping pong, meaningful work and exciting projects). Most importantly, our team members are always inspired, engaged, and ready for growth.

That means you’ll have the resources and the runway to create truly magical, out-of-the-box work. Moreover, you will play an important role in leveraging our culture, people, systems, processes, and technology — ultimately to provide incredible customer experiences, while growing business for GCC and The Home Depot. This is your chance to be part of something big, in a small start-up environment.

We’re ranked as one of The Top 5 Workplaces in Texas and have consistently won the following awards: The Best Place to Work in Houston (Houston Business Journal), Houston’s Top Workplaces (Houston Chronicle) and Houston’s Best and Brightest.
