Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking experienced Food Service General Manager 1 for Synchrony Financial in Phoenix, Arizona.


The General Manager will oversee our café serving breakfast and lunch for over 500 Synchrony Financial employees and a micro-market and Catering at this location. We are looking for a hands-on, working manager who is willing to jump in wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations. The General Manager will be handling all catertrax function and billing and work directly with Synchrony’s customers that are placing catering orders.


The General Manager will serve as our primarily liaison with the client, will have daily customer interaction and oversee staff including all hiring, training, scheduling, and payroll.


The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Catering or dining management background.
  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills are a must.

Position Summary

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years
