General Manager 2 opportunity for Schools segment....


Sodexo School Services Division has an immediate need for a Resource General Manager 2 to join our organization and prepare for upcoming opportunities in the Arizona K-12 Market.  Specific job location is TBD, but will be in the Southern Tucson area.


We are seeking an experienced General Manager with the ability to build relationships with diverse work groups.  The best qualified candidate will have managed Multi Unit Accounts at $1MM+ in complex environments and have exceptional Operations skills.  Seeking candidates who are Project Management focused, and have strong Financial acumen as you will analyze and complete daily, weekly & monthly financial reports, who are Expense driven and have extensive experience in food production principles. You should be well versed in corrective action, and have a working knowledge of computer programs and applications. Proven verbal and written Communication skills are key focus areas in this role.   


Seeking Community minded candidates with exceptional Communication & team-building skills to build relationships among Constituencies, including Businesses, Church Groups, Foundations and Arizona Department of Education.  Seeking candidates with strong negotiating skills & the ability to work independently.


**Seeking 4-5 years Basic Functional Management Experience & 4 years of relevant experience in school nutrition programs.  Associates Degree or Nutrition background a plus**


**This position requires the ability to train and travel for assignments within the Arizona area**




Position Summary

Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience – 3 years of relevant experience in school nutrition programs
